Tick through once a month

• Bills account has enough for the next 30 days.
• Credit card statement balances are known and payment dates are set.
• Any high-interest debt has a target payment this month.
• Emergency fund moved closer to the starter or full target.
• Subscriptions and renewals reviewed for the next 60 days.
• Bank switching or bonus requirements updated, if relevant.
• Household bills or insurance renewal dates checked.
• Pension contribution, salary sacrifice or workplace match still makes sense.
• ISA, savings and investment contributions match the current plan.
• Tax code, payslip or Self Assessment records checked if anything changed.
• One annoying admin job has an owner and date.
• Notes written for next month's review.
